Big Pine Key, FL Vacation, Part II

Part II

DAY 3

Snorkeling in Looe Key (as the capt'n said, "you can Lookie Lookie, but no touchie touchie the coral!") We had a fun time snorkeling and although some said they saw sharks and barracudas...thankfully we only saw fish! Those underwater cameras did not catch the beauty we saw and it really was neat. I was scared at first but then was fine after a little bit of swimming here and there. Afterwards, we got cleaned up and enjoyed some free food at Boondocks (thanks to coupons left for us from the Dolphin Tournament from family). Then we headed out for drinks and more Key Lime Pie for me at the Tiki Bar next to the snorkeling place with live music. The Keys are a way of life....MY way of life!!! :-)

DAY 4

A lazy Monday morning...coffee with Bailey's (3 cups thank you and yuuuuuum!). Steve's family gave us a bottle of Champagne and we had mimosas after our coffee....what a relaxing morning! Then my brother, Zach sent us a surprise package! Wine, cheese, biscotti, hazlenuts, crackers, and 2 chocolate truffles. Thanks Zach!

After lunch we headed out to Key West to research which beach we wanted to hang out at the next day. After a few pictures and walks, we ended up at Zachary Taylor Beach - the only great place to really go if you wanna have a beach day. Again, had a Key Lime Pie on a stick from the snack shack - I think KL Pie is ALWAYS good....I sure loved it! Everyday!

DAY 5

A day at the beach! It was hot, but awesome! Again, hung out at Sloppy Joes coolin' off then we took turns shopping a bit so we would keep our table. After some dinner (very unhealthy I might add) and some drinks, we headed out to our Sunset Sail Wine and Wind. And although it was terribly hot on the sailboat with no breeze, the view was amazing and we were together! Wine and delicious treats were served and we took some great photos. The water in the Keys is just amazing. I loved it! Another fabulous day!
