Mother's Day began with a long, hot walk to Starbucks, through sprinklers, running across main roads, stopping at Publix for cold water, and making it back to the nice, cool AC! Whew! It was a walk filled with smiles, laughs, good conversation and a lot of things Mom and I probably didn't realize we had in common, especially concerning our jobs. Huh? Who knew! :-)
Then a nice sushi lunch with some coconut rice/shrimp, ginger salad, and a tasty Carribbean something or other that was delish! We had a lovely dinner and we all hung out closing the evening with some photo shots. Apparently I need a tripod stand for my camera! However, I was creative enough and the bar stool worked pretty well as you can see. It was a beautiful day.
